Not just another ‘requirement’, CPD is key to your continuing success
The NSW Office of Fair Trading (OFT) requires a minimum level of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for all personal Licence and Certificate of Registration holders each year.
As a Licence or Certificate of Registration holder you must complete 12 CPD points in the 12 months following the granting or renewal of your Licence or Certificate. You can carry points forward to the following year. The OFT has not set specific compulsory topics for 2008 but identified 15 broad topics from which you can choose relevant and useful subject areas. These are listed in Course Content.
Maximise your time & investment
At Corum Training we believe in making CPD training for real estate professionals more than just a rubber stamp.
We understand the life of a busy real estate professional – time is money! We believe in making your time-out for CPD training a valuable investment in your future.
The CPD topics we offer are drawn from a combination of the topics outlined in the Commissioner’s Guidelines. But simply adding to your points is not our goal. We structure our CPD courses to broaden your perspectives, make you think and equip you for greater success!
We can provide customised CPD group workshops in your office or you can take the distance option and study in your own time. That way, you can make the most of your time and your investment.
Under the 2008 guidelines, our CPD training (as we are an RTO or Registered Training Organisation) is valued at 3 points per hour so our workshops are only 4 hours (12 points).
How assessment works Assessment tasks draw from the Commissioner’s Guidelines Learning Category 3 using competency based strategies. You will receive a Certificate of Completion after being assessed as ‘competent’. Remember, you’re required to keep a record of your training for a period of 3 years. Naturally, Corum Training will also keep a record of this.
